Delicious Beef Bowl Recipe

 

Looking for a really simple yet delicious meal to satisfy your taste buds? Look no further! This Japanese inspired beef bowl recipe is not only easy and quick to make but also incredibly tasty. It's a favorite of my husbands and my kids love it too. 

Ingredients:

- 3 tbs olive oil

- 1 lb thinly sliced beef

- 1/4 cup soy sauce plus a little more for sprinkling over each bowl

- 2 onions, steamed until translucent

- Cheyanne pepper for sprinkling on top

- 2 cups of cooked rice

Instructions:

1. Start by cooking the rice according to the package instructions.

2. While the rice is cooking, steam the onions until they become translucent.

3. In a pan over medium-high heat, add about 3 tbsps or so of olive oil, then add the thinly sliced beef to the pan along with the soy sauce. Cook until beef is cooked through.

4. To assemble the beef bowls, start by layering a bowl with cooked rice. Top it with the cooked beef and steamed onions. Next drizzle a little extra soy sauce on top for added flavor. Finish off with a sprinkle of Cheyanne pepper for a kick.
