What ingredients do you need?
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Tri-Colored pasta
- 1 Large Bell Pepper, sliced paper thin lengthwise
- 1/4 of a red onion, sliced paper thin
- 1 12oz jar of kalamata olives, halved
- 1 package of Mediterranean flavor or regular feta
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 handful of parsley, chopped
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- A splash of red wine vinegar (about 2 tsp)
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup olive oil start with 1/2 cup stir and add more if necessary
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- A pinch of sugar
- Salt to taste
How do you make it?
To prepare this pasta salad, simply mix all the ingredients in a bowl, excluding the cooked pasta. Add the cooked and cooled pasta last. Toss everything together gently to coat the pasta and evenly distribute the delicious dressing/veggie mixture.
Once the pasta salad is ready, you can serve it immediately or refrigerate it for a few hours to allow the flavors to meld together even more. This pasta salad is perfect for picnics, barbecues, potlucks, or even as a light lunch or dinner option.
